Red Bull Wings Cup is an open-to-all EA SPORTS FC™ 27 tournament that turns everyday players into national contenders. Nova Esports runs the Oman edition: 512 places online, 512 on campus, 16 finalists at Al Mirani Fort, and one player who carries the country to the World Final in Miami.
Two routes lead to the same stage. The Open League is online and open to every player in Oman. The University League is offline, at SQU and GUtech. Each crowns a champion at the National Final — then those two play one Kick Off Classic match, and the winner flies to Miami.

Open League registration runs for one week. You get a Nova reference code, the tournament Discord and your bracket before play starts.

One final.
Same tournament, two ways in. Each league sends eight players to the National Final at Al Mirani Fort, crowns a champion there, and those two champions meet in one Kick Off Classic match for the ticket to Miami.

Campus qualifiers on PlayStation 5 at Sultan Qaboos University and GUtech, run by Nova crew on the ground. Every result feeds one national leaderboard, and the top eight take the University seats at the National Final.

Who can enter
- 18 years or older at the time of entry.
- Resident of the Sultanate of Oman, competing only in Oman.
- A valid passport with at least six months' validity, and able to obtain a US visa — the World Final is expected in January 2027.
- University League only: enrolled as a student for the whole competition. Student ID may be requested at any time.
- Employees of the organiser, its partners and agencies, and their immediate households, cannot enter.

What you need
- A PlayStation 5. Both leagues are played exclusively on PS5.
- EA SPORTS FC™ 27, a valid EA account and a PlayStation Network account, including PlayStation Plus where required.
- A Discord account — the tournament server is how the crew reaches you.
- Access to the bracket platform the organiser designates.

Open League format
- All matches are EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Team 11v11.
- A tie goes to extra time without golden goal, then a penalty shootout on the game mode's standard settings.
- Win every match in your bracket to take it. Lose, and you may register for another bracket while registration is open.
- Bracket winners go through to the Closed Qualifiers: a single elimination best-of-one played down to the Top 8.
- 04
University League format
- Matches are Rush Mode 5v5, played on campus at your assigned station.
- A tie triggers a two minute twenty second golden goal period; first to score wins. Still level, it goes to penalties.
- Crew record every result and the match statistics feed the national leaderboard.
- You must play at least two matches to appear on the leaderboard. There is no cap on matches, subject to capacity on the day.
- The top 8 on the leaderboard become National Finalists.

The National Final
- Held at Al Mirani Fort, Muttrah, Muscat. Sixteen finalists, and every finalist must attend in person.
- The Open League bracket is single elimination in Ultimate Team 11v11.
- The University League bracket is single elimination in Rush Mode 5v5, seeded off the leaderboard — first plays last, second plays second-last, and so on.
- Each league crowns one champion.
- The two champions then meet in a Kick Off Classic match. The winner is Oman's representative at the World Final.

Rewards
- Open League brackets pay FC Points: 1,050 to the winner, 500 to the runner-up, 100 each to third and fourth.
- A one-off 100 FC Points lands the first time you win a match.
- Oman's representative gets return flights, accommodation, essential meals and airport transfers for the World Final.
- World Final entry requires accepting a separate set of terms. Decline, and a runner-up takes the place.
- 07
Conduct and disqualification
- This is a game of skill. No element of chance decides who wins.
- Cheating, bots, altering the game's behaviour, multiple accounts, or offensive nicknames and language mean disqualification.
- Disrespectful or aggressive behaviour towards crew, players or spectators means immediate disqualification.
- You may enter both leagues, but if you qualify for the National Final in both you must pick one. The other place is forfeited.
- The organiser may ask you to prove your age, identity or enrolment at any point. Its decision is final.
Miami
One player leaves Al Mirani Fort as Oman’s representative. Return flights, accommodation, meals and transfers are covered, and the Red Bull Wings Cup World Final puts them against the champions of every other country in the competition.
